What
is the problem?

I
think that Matt and Chris invited him to the game and so did Paul.
Mike just arrived at the game and does not know who to sit with.

I think
the problem is that Mike comes to the game and both his groups of
friends have expected him to sit with them and both groups don't
really like each other and once they find out that Mike likes the
other group that probably sparked the problem. Sebastian

Mike
might have said, "yes" to Matt and Chris's invitation
at school while his mom said yes to Paul's mom's invitation.

I
think the problem is that Mike doesn't know who he should sit with
because he is friends with all of them, but Matt and Chris don't
like Paul. I think it would be hard to choose between the two because
you don't want to lose your friends. Phillip

I think
that Mike got invited to the basketball game by Paul and the other
neighborhood kids at the bus stop. Then at school Matt and Chris
invited Mike to the basketball game and Mike lied," I can't
get a ride" and went to the basketball game hoping he wouldn't
see him there. Izzy

I think
that Mike was not honest about who he was going with in the first
place. He must have told Chris and Matt that he wanted to, but he
didn't have a ride. Then he got an invitation from Paul, who he
might have liked better or knew better. Anonymous

What

Mike
would never have had to be in this bad situation of which friend
he should sit with if he hadn't lied. Mike should sit with his friends
from the bus stop because his other friends were calling Mike’s
other friends mean names and telling him who to sit with instead
of being a good friend and letting him sit where he chooses and
not make a mean comment if he doesn't particularly like it. Shauna

I think
that the downside of trying to get Matt, Chris, and Paul to sit
together would be that Mike would first have to explain everything
that had happened and that would make them take time off of watching
the basketball game. If Mike spent half the time with Paul and half
with Matt and Chris they would have all been able to watch the game

explain why he had lied to Matt and Chris. Michaela
